Neot Kedumim

I pulled water from an ancient cistern dating back to the Byzantine period!
The lesson here: the stone has ridges made from years and years of pulling water up with rope--if a stone can change, certainly us humans can as well.

I got to hangout with the flock :)

We got to herd the sheep too.

Jane and I grinding hyssop.
Psalm 51:7 is only one example of where hyssop is in the Bible.
It was their medicine and was a symbol of humility.  Hyssop can grow anywhere, it doesn't need much.  We can be happy and grow as a person no matter our circumstances, and even be a help to others like this hyssop heals.

Montanna knows how to make a mean pita!
As you can tell from his face, Tyler is slightly amazed at how perfect mine turned out.

This Torah scroll is about 200 years old!
